Refunds

YGR Member Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Membership fees are not refundable.
• All changes affecting your monthly draft (e.g. billing information, holds, downgrades) require 7 days’ notice prior to your next draft date. Any error must be identified no later than 60 days from the posted bank statement date. The YMCA is not responsible for errors occurring later than 90 days from the date of the initial error.

YGR Program Cancellation / Refund Policy (Does not apply to Preschool, ChildCare or Camp programs)

• If the YMCA cancels a class or activity, you are entitled to a full refund.
• If you withdraw from a class more than one week (8 or more days) before the start of the class or activity, you are entitled to receive a full refund or credit.
• If you withdraw from a class 1 to 7 days before the start of the class, you are entitled to receive a 50% refund or credit.
• If you withdraw from a class or activity on or after the start of the class, you are not entitled to receive a refund or credit unless you provide a doctor’s verification of a medical condition that would prohibit participation in the class or activity. This must be submitted to the program director.

YGR Preschool and Childcare (school year) Cancellation / Refund Policy

• Registration Fee is due upon enrollment. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable if parent/guardian cancels.
• If the YMCA cancels a childcare program prior to start date, you are entitled to a full refund of the registration fee.
  •  If the YMCA cancels a childcare program after start date, you are entitled to a full refund for weeks that do not take place if they have already been charged.
• Payments are drafted two weeks prior to service and will not be refunded once processed. To avoid charges to your account, 21 days written notice must be provided via email to ygradmin@ymcarichmond.org.

YGR Camp Program Cancellation / Refund Policy

• One Registration Fee per camp program and Deposit for each week of camp is due upon enrollment. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable if parent/guardian cancels.
• If the YMCA cancels a camp program within 2 weeks of camp, you are entitled to a full refund of deposit(s) for weeks that do not take place.
• Payments are drafted two weeks prior to service and will not be refunded once processed. To avoid charges to your account, 21 days written notice must be provided via email to ygradmin@ymcarichmond.org
