Aging Strong

The YMCA Aging Strong Program is designed to help older adults improve health outcomes, increase socialization and maintain independent living. Programming includes the Keys to Aging Well: Physical Activity, Connecting with Others, Mental Fitness, and Fall Prevention.

AGING STRONG IN THE Y  

The Aging Strong program is currently offered at the Petersburg and Northside YMCA locations.

AGING STRONG IN THE COMMNITY   

The YMCA Aging Strong is a health and fitness program partnering with  Senior Connections  to provide group fitness classes and testing for our senior population. 

LET THE Y COME TO YOU   

On-site Aging Strong programming is available from the YMCA of Greater Richmond. The Y is able to build a customizable program specific to your needs using programs within the Keys to Aging Well:

  • Physical Activity
  • Connecting with Others
  • Mental Fitness
  • Fall Prevention
