Fall Prevention

1 in 4 Americans aged 65+ falls each year. Every 11 seconds, an older adult is treated in the emergency room for a fall.  Physical activity can go a long way toward fall prevention.

Consider activities such as walking, water workouts or tai chi. Such activities reduce the risk of falls by improving strength, balance, coordination and flexibility.
