Regular exercise is one component of a healthy lifestyle that can help reduce stress and prevent illness. While we would love to see you in one of our group exercise classes, we understand life gets busy, so we offer the following types of virtual classes.

On-Demand Healthy at Home

With the YMCA of Greater Richmond’s Healthy at Home workouts, our very own staff lead you through various workouts and activities that you can do from the comfort of your own home.

From Cardio to Strength Training, Cooking to Kid Fit, Sports to Gardening, there’s plenty of workouts to keep you healthy whether you are stuck inside or just looking for something different.

On-Demand Les Mills

Enjoy select Les Mills class at home or on the go when you can’t make it to the Y.

On-Demand In Branch

Recorded Les Mills classes with Les Mills instructors that members view in the YMCA branch. Classes offered are found on the Group Exercise schedule.  

We now offer a wide variety of Les Mills video classes throughout the day so that you can come and experience big screen cinematic fitness when a live class doesn’t fit into your schedule.  If you are new to group fitness, this is a great opportunity to try a class for the first time without the intimidation of a live instructor leading it.

Classes include Born to Move, BodyPump, BodyCombat, BodyFlow, Core, RPM, Sprint, Sh’Bam and The Trip.  You can find these video classes on the group exercise schedule at one of the following branches:
