January Trip

 

What:   Riverside Theatre, for performance of Broadway classic, “Mame”*

When:   Wednesday, January 13, Leave lobby at 10:30– Return at approximately 5:00.

Where: Fredericksburg, VA

Cost:   Facility Member: $69.00; Non-member: $79.00.   Fee is all inclusive: includes round trip transportation on YMCA bus, seated lunch with choice of several entrées and desserts, and the performance. Please register at front desk no later than Wednesday, January 6.

 

What:   Out to Lunch Bunch*

When: Thursday, January 21, 12:30 (after Gentle Strength class)

February Trip

 

What:   Richmond Trolley Tour and lunch at Sine` Irish Restaurant and Pub*

When: Friday, February 19, Leave lobby at 9:45—Return after lunch–approximately 2:30

Where: Trolley takes us to 20 historic sites in Richmond

Cost:     Facility Member: $37.00; Non-Member: $47.00. Fee includes round trip transportation on YMCA

bus and trolley tour—we need 20 to get this special reduced price. Lunch is not included.   Please register at front desk no later than Friday, February 12.  

 

What:   Annual Valentine Out to Lunch Bunch*

When: Friday, February 12, 12:30

Third Tuesday Programs

 

When: Tuesday January19, 12:30-1:30

Where: Conference Room (at back of building, near Teen Center)

Caitlin Catella, Director of the YMCA Diabetes program, will be here to discuss this very important program with us. Bring a brown bag lunch if you wish. Please sign up on Shirley’s office door no later than Monday January 18 to attend.

Bonnie Scimone, Community Outreach Specialist for Senior Navigator will be here to demonstrate how to use their online directory that lists over 26,000 resources that help older adults remain independent. Come learn how to find information about health and aging issues, financial concerns, legal questions, caregiver support, and housing and assisted living communities. Bring a brown bag lunch if you wish. Please sign up on Shirley’s office door no later than Monday, February15 to attend
