YMCA Introduction to Dance for ages 3-5 is designed to introduce your child to the basic elements, steps, and terms of jazz, modern, hip-hop, and tap. This class will help beginners establish a solid foundation to use as they explore future dance experiences. It is a great way for your child to build confidence, increase flexibility, poise, and grace as they have loads of fun and prepare for their very own performance the final week of the program! This class will take place for one hour, once per week for 6 weeks. The recommended clothing is a black leotard, pink/black leggings, and pink/black jazz or ballet shoes. Students may also wear form-fitting, solid-colored attire in black or neutral colors, and dance shoes. No class on Easter Weekend, April 11.
