YMCA Beginning Dance-Creative Movement class (Ages 3-4) is designed to introduce your child to the world of dance and creative movement. Children will learn the connection between music and movement, and will learn concepts such as rhythm, space, expression, and timing in fun and age-appropriate lessons and games. They will gain flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination while learning how to cooperate in a class setting. The goal of this class is to help children learn to love dance and love their bodies while building a foundation for future movement-related experiences such as dance, sports. This class will have a jazz focus and will take place once per week, for 6 weeks. Black t-shirt & black leggings with jazz shoes recommended.
