Phase IV Cardiac Rehab
Phase IV Cardiac Rehab provides a smooth transition from acute rehab into sustaining a healthy lifestyle at the YMCA.
Participants will engage in activities to maximize general range of motion and balance. Light weight training, free exercises and balance training will be used to facilitate activities of daily living. Participants must be able to walk, preferably unassisted.
Exercise in the water has been proven to help people dealing with arthritis. We offer many arthritis classes in our heated pools around the city. See Water Fitness and other schedules at our YMCA locations.
For participants with multiple sclerosis, this class combines water walking and MS Moves stretching to increase mobility and assist in maintain muscle tone and strength.

Increase strength, speed, agility, coordination, and balance. Sessions run monthly and are based on increasing overall athletic ability. Geared toward young athletes of any sport.
