Leadership Empowerment and Prevention Training (LEAP)
Developed in collaboration between VCU’s School of Social Work and the Partnership for People with Disabilities, LEAP provides training on healthy relationships and information about preventing abuse to adults with disabilities.
Greater Richmond SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now)
Greater Richmond SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now) is a local nonprofit organization dedicated solely to the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect in the Greater Richmond area. SCAN’s services promote positive parenting, strengthen families, and help create a community that values and cares for its children. Our programs include the Child Advocacy Centers (CAC), Family Support Program, Community Programs, Richmond Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), and The Circle Preschool Program.
