The YMCA can help you meet your fitness goals. Begin by talking with our wellness professionals about a plan to suit your needs and lifestyle. Then determine how you can benefit from one of our many fitness programs, which can range from developing a personalized exercise program to premier personal training.

TIPS FOR SUCCESS

  • Try doing 20 minutes of exercise everyday
  • Set small goals. 2-3 days of walking or running or weights. After a couple of weeks add another day to your routine
  • Set 3, 6 and 12 months goals. Knowing that some goals will take longer to achieve don’t worry if the change doesn’t happen right away
  • While watching your favorite TV shows perform some ab exercises during the commercials. You will be amazed at the workout can get while exercising during commercials
  • Set up a time to meet with a Wellness Coach to discuss exercises and progression
