Youth Basketball

 

PRIVATE BASKETBALL LESSONS
Participants learn the basics of basketball. Learn how to shoot, dribble, pass, basketball moves to the basket, away from the basket, post moves, guard moves and more. As players continue and advance, participants will be pushed to another level, work harder and learn in a faster paced environment. Each lesson is 1 hour.

2 Players: $60 per player

SUMMER BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Summer basketball is here for both boys and girls ages 9-18. 

Divisions:

 9-10 boys/9-10 girls
11-12 boys/11-12 girls
13-15 boys/13-15 girls
16-18 boys/16-18 girls

Day(s):

TBD.  Games will be held at least once per week Monday-Thursday.  First week of the season will be practices only.  After the first week, games only.

Evenings between 5 - 9 p.m.

Location:

Patrick Henry Family YMCA.  Other Hanover facilities TBD.

Additional Info:

Uniforms may be purchased at $10.  This fee will be collected at the time of registration.  If you played in the YMCA league this past winter, you may use the same uniform and do not need to purchase a new one.

Evaluation day will be held on May 31st, Patrick Henry Family Y gym at the following times:
9-10 boys/girls:  1 - 2 p.m.
11-12 boys/girls:  2 - 3 p.m.
13-15 boys/girls:  3 - 4 p.m.
16-18 boys/girls:  4 - 5 p.m.
