Each day at our YMCA we have the opportunity to impact others. Each of us, staff, volunteers, and members alike, can make a difference in our own life or someone else’s. By choosing to be a member of the YMCA, we are put in a position to make a difference.

A great example of individuals choosing to make a difference can be found on our basketball courts each winter: dedicated volunteers stepping up to coach our children, setting an example of servant leadership and dedication that transcends the drills and games that are the supposed focus of youth sports. It is also here that we find examples of the YMCA’s commitment to being Open to All. All races, religions, economic and social backgrounds are welcome at the Y. As part of a team, our children develop friendships founded in fun and respect, while learning new skills and being active.

Here at the Y we are strengthening the foundations of our community every day. How?
