Summer Explorers
The Manchester Family YMCA offers summer child care for children ages K-5th. Program activities promote development in the values of caring, responsibility, respect and honesty in a safe and stimulating environment! Our 14,000 square-foot facility offers a wide variety of choices for your child including swimming, team-building activities in the gym, science and nature at the outdoor pavilion, as well as a fully equipped game lounge. TEEN CAMP
Teen Xtreme Camp
This year the Manchester Family YMCA will offer additional programming for youth (rising 6th-rising 8th grade). Program activities will develop all participants in character, and all activities will be more hands on and interactive! Teens will enjoy all the same space and activities provided at, and in addition will have the opportunity to participate in adventure trips and community service projects! There will be a weekly emphasis on problem solving and team building! We will also explore nature at a variety of local parks. SPORTS CAMP
Campers will learn fundamental skills involved in playing each sport with emphasis placed on practicing proper sportsmanship while having fun. Campers will participate in safe and exciting drills, games, and contests. Whether learning how to play a new sport or refining old skills, each child is a winner at the Manchester Family YMCA!

Make Your
Online Reservation Registration Begins February 1st Completion of online forms and payment of initial deposit and registration fee RESERVES a spot in the YMCA Camp program. To complete the registration process, all forms required by Virginia Department of Social Services licensing regulations must be returned to the YMCA two weeks prior to the start of the program. A one-time registration fee applies to each child attending camp, and must be included with registration. If a child attends multiple camp sessions, the fee only needs to be paid once. You must check the registration box as shown below:  YMCA membership must be valid and the account must be in good standing for the duration of the program. Learn more about YMCA membership options. Open to All Policy If financial assistance is required, online reservation is allowed with payment of initial deposits. Applicants must submit required financial information to the branch where the program is offered for consideration. Requests are processed in 5 – 10 days.
