Swimmers 5-18 years old are welcome to join one of 11 teams throughout the Greater Richmond and Petersburg areas. Swimmers must be able to complete the length of the pool without stopping, touching the bottom or holding on to the lane line or wall. Skilled coaching staff will help your child with stroke technique and endurance while incorporating the four core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility into their workout regimen. With YMCA Swim Teams, everybody swims, everybody wins. Our swim season is:

FULL SEASON
The full season runs from September through March. This season includes eight regular meets, the Holiday Classic in December and the Championship Meet in March. Additional fees may apply.

FALL SEASON
The fall half season runs from September through December. This season includes four regular meets and the Holiday Classic in December. Additional fees may apply.

WINTER SEASON
The winter half season runs from January through March. This season includes four regular season meets and the Championship Meet in March. Additional fees may apply.
