AQUA ZUMBA® (Low/Moderate Intensity)Known as the Zumba "pool party," Aqua Zumba gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief. 60 minutes.
GENTLE SPLASH (low/moderate intensity)Activate your aqua exercise urge for variety! Silver Splash offers lots of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required. A special Silver Splash kickboard is used to help develop strength, balance and coordination. 60 minutes.
WATER STRIDES (low intensity)Great choice for your first water aerobics class/and or post surgical participants! Water Strides is a fun, practical alternative or addition to jogging or walking on land. The water provides extra resistance while protecting you from injuries common to higher impact activities. A variety of moves and equipment are used to strengthen muscles, maintain range of motion and improve flexibility. 60 minutes.
H2O PUMP (moderate intensity)Designed to burn fat, strengthen muscles and build endurance. This class includes an intense cardiovascular component followed by a strength-training segment possibly utilizing a variety of equipment. 60 minutes.
MASTER'S SWIMThis program is designed to incorporate swimming for fitness with a competitive swim edge into your everyday workout routine. Participants will have access to planned workout routines based on skill level; technical guidance to stroke mechanics, and a comprehensive look at the world of competitive swimming. The program will also serve as an assessing tool and one in which individual skill levels can be enhanced. All swimming levels are welcome! 60 minutes. To learn more visit the Master's Swim page.
